In a matrimonial action where the parties have eight children, the court had to consider the unique conditions of the husband’s employment as a Chabad Rabbi in granting his request for a downward modification and denying the wife lifetime maintenance.
During pre-trial proceedings, the wife sought pendente lite relief. At that time, the court awarded the wife temporary spousal support in the sum of $3,333 per month in direct support and child support in the sum of $2,266 per month.
