New York Attorney General Letitia James on Tuesday indicated her office would seek sanctions against former President Donald Trump, three of his children and their lawyers for making “demonstrably false denials” in connection with their $250 million fraud lawsuit.

Attorneys for the defendants last week filed their verified answers to the lawsuit, in which they made various assertions, including that the Trump Organization was merely a branding tool and did not legally exist.
