contracts fine printIn need of new union contracts for nearly two years, thousands of non-judicial employees of the New York Unified Court System are due to receive five-year, 13% salary increases, including two years of retroactive increases that may be received faster than in previous collective bargaining agreements.

Gov. Kathy Hochul recently signed a bill that affects employees represented by 12 unions, just weeks after its introduction.

The contract breakdown calls for retroactive raises of 2% each as of April 1, 2021, and April 2022, followed by 3% pay increases on April 1, April 2024 and April 2025.
