A joint legislative hearing on New York’s proposed operating budget of $3.3 billion for its judiciary paid great attention to the after-effects of former Chief Judge Janet DiFiore, who retired in August.
The hearing also put interim Chief Administrative Judge Tamiko Amaker on the hot seat, who’s just months removed from assuming the role on Dec. 1.
