A longtime Brooklyn court employee managed to steal nearly $70,000 by skimming money from filing fees, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez and New York State Unified Court System Inspector General Sherrill Spatz announced Monday.

Lori Argiro-DiPietro had been working as a supervising cashier in the clerk’s office in Brooklyn Supreme Court when a routine audit discovered the missing funds, Gonzalez said.
