U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman of the Southern District of New York on Tuesday dismissed a lawsuit against two New York City Police Department officers and ordered that the plaintiffs' attorneys must each attend four hours of continuing legal education on federal practice and procedure after they repeatedly failed to meet deadlines in the case.
