Under their March 2002 reseller agreement, New York-based Calltrol gave Swedish firm Loxysoft a non-exclusive, non-transferable right and license to market and resell Calltrol’s contact center software products, software developer kits, and related support services.

Under the agreement Calltrol had the ability to enable and disable the use of its products via a Calltrol-furnished dongle. In 2018, Calltrol became aware that Loxysoft had been marketing and selling its own competing products.
