Citing concerns that have “only … increased” in recent weeks, U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District of New York on Monday rejected a request that he disclose the identities of jurors in an upcoming trial to the attorneys representing former President Donald Trump and the author E. Jean Carroll.

In late March, citing Trump’s attacks against “courts, judges, various law enforcement officials and other public officials, and even individual jurors in other matters,” Kaplan ordered that the jurors should be anonymous and should start and end their days at an undisclosed location to preserve their privacy.
