A man accused—and later cleared—of charges that he led New York City police officers on two different high-speed chases in February 2022 on Staten Island and remained on the run for days alleges in a new lawsuit that he was unlawfully arrested.

Following his Feb. 22, 2022 arrest, Plaintiff Everton Bramble was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, fleeing a police officer and reckless driving, among other charges, the Staten Island Advance reports.
