A Wigdor Law partner accused of poaching a client has filed his own lawsuit against his adversary, claiming that that attorney violated professional conduct rules by putting his own financial interests in front of his clients.

Anthony DiPietro first sued Wigdor litigator David Gottlieb in March, claiming Gottlieb lured away a client DiPietro had been representing as part of a global settlement against Columbia University for victims of serial predator and former gynecologist Robert Hadden. DiPietro claimed he was entitled to attorney fees on that undisclosed settlement amount.
