A federal magistrate judge on Tuesday ordered that the names of those who co-signed a $500,000 bond for indicted U.S. Rep. George Santos, R-New York, be unsealed—but said she’ll give his attorney until Friday to appeal.

The ruling from U.S. District Magistrate Court Judge Anne Shields came just a day after an attorney for the embattled lawmaker said his client would rather go to jail than have the names of those who helped secure his pre-trial freedom made public.
