A bill sponsored by two New York City lawmakers to financially make whole 15 older state judges who were sidelined for six months due to a short-lived, pandemic-related austerity measure, is headed to Gov. Kathy Hochul’s desk.

Sponsored by state Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, D-Bronx, and Sen. Jamaal Bailey, D-Bronx, A7654/S7496 passed in both legislative houses during the lawmaking session.
