Former President Donald Trump has a “prolific history” of accusing judges of bias and his attempt to oust Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan from his criminal case should be rejected, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.

Trump’s defense team previously filed a motion seeking Merchan’s recusal, saying the judge’s own political donations, his daughter’s work in political fundraising, and his actions during last year’s Trump Organization tax fraud trial meant he should step aside.
