U.S. District Judge Joanna Seybert of the Eastern District of New York ordered the unsealing Tuesday afternoon, giving Rep. George Santos approximately 44 hours to potentially "move to modify the conditions of his release, should the suretors seek to withdraw from serving as suretors."
