Plaintiffs state inmates claimed defendants, supervisory members of the New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision violated their rights under the First and Fourteenth Amendments by instituting and enforcing a department-wide policy of denying inmates nude photographs and videos on secure tablet devices.

U.S. District Judge Kenneth Karas dismissed claims against DOCCS under the Eleventh Amendment. Instantly, district court granted the DOCCS Defendants dismissal under FRCP 12(b)(6).
