The New York court system's new leadership continues to round out its team, announcing on Thursday the appointment of Judge Deborah H. Karalunas, a central New York trial court judge, as the administrative judge overseeing operations of trial courts in the six counties of the Fifth Judicial District.
Chief Administrative Judge Joseph A. Zayas' appointment of Karalunas takes effect July 10.
