The former partner who was terminated and then sued by Napoli Shkolnik over allegedly “quiet quitting” to start her own side firm is asking a judge to dismiss the action, arguing the claims are “fatally deficient” and fail under the law.

Napoli Shkolnik sued their ex-attorney Heather Palmore in February, citing breach of contract and seeking repayment of $400,000. Palmore shot back with her own lawsuit, alleging harassment and bias. She denies both “quiet quitting” and working for herself during her time employed by Napoli.
