Lisa Zornberg—a litigation partner at Debevoise & Plimpton and former federal prosecutor—will serve as the new City Hall chief counsel, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced Wednesday.

Zornberg will assume her new role in the Adams administration in August, following the departure of current City Hall Chief Counsel Brendan McGuire. The appointment was first reported by The New York Times.
