In the Third Judicial District covering a swath of upstate New York, Republican judicial delegates intend to nominate only one name for three vacancies on the state Supreme Court in November: and that’s GOP and conservative candidate Dana Salazar, managing partner with Salazar and Erikson.

Former Republican Congressman John Faso, convener of the Third Judicial District’s nominating convention taking place Aug. 14, told the Law Journal on Monday that Salazar will be the party’s lone pick for vacancies that are occurring due to judges reaching mandatory retirement age.
