U.S. District Judge Nina Morrison of the Eastern District of New York on Tuesday granted the U.S. Department of Justice's request for a preliminary injunction against a company accused of selling machine gun conversion devices that are illegal to possess in the United States.

Morrison found that the government is likely to succeed on the merits of its claims about the company, Rare Breed Triggers, which earned approximately $39 million in revenue from the sale of about 100,000 conversion devices, known as FRT-15 triggers, in less than two years.
