Robert Wise, an attorney who admitted to aiding a sanctioned Russian oligarch, was officially removed from the rolls Thursday in a ruling from the Appellate Division, First Department.

The 82-year-old pleaded guilty in April to one count of conspiring to commit international money laundering, and is facing sentencing later this year before U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil of the Southern District of New York.
