What are some of your proudest recent achievements? My proudest recent achievement is receiving a $1.7 million jury verdict for our clients in May 2023 in Dutchess County. This was an extremely complicated medical malpractice case, and the case was tried in a forum not known for sizable jury awards. This was the first time that I was on trial while having responsibilities to other attorneys and staff at the firm. Normally when I prepare for a trial, I retreat to my office and immerse myself in the intricacies of the case. Now, I had to split my time between trial preparation and making sure our projects went on as they should. I am immensely proud of our team and their professionalism during this time.

Name a lawyer or mentor whose leadership inspired you. As I was graduating law school, and during my first few years as a new lawyer, I was inspired and guided by a great lawyer named Albert F. Pennisi. Al was a family friend for years. He was a principal of his firm in Queens. During a lunch where I asked him to hire me, he politely declined. He told me that he was doing me a favor because I should be a personal injury lawyer. Al reiterated that my trial experience and my personality were a natural fit in a personal injury practice.
