Filling in two top spots in her office, New York City Corporation Counsel Sylvia Hinds-Radix has elevated a Law Department stalwart to head its labor and employment division and appointed an attorney from another city office to her executive team to oversee family court matters.
Maxwell Leighton has been named chief of the office's employment division, where he has served as a deputy for more than three years. The division handles matters arising from its role as the employer of a massive workforce of more than 300,000 employees.
