What were some of your most satisfying successes of the past year, and why? We were 100% confident that the SDNY decision overturning Purdue's confirmation order was clear legal error. As the primary architect of the almost universally supported Chapter 11 plan and having done both appellate oral arguments, 83 pages of complete vindication was deeply gratifying. The landmark decision is correct across the board on serious and weighty issues. That said, five years of legal victories and consensus-building is of rather little moment until the billions of dollars and life-saving medicines are actually flowing to those in desperate need—for whom we have been working since 2018.
