Practice Profile: Temidayo Aganga-Williams is a partner at Selendy Gay Elsberg.

Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Aganga-Williams has long been committed to using his legal skills in furtherance of the public interest. As an associate at Cleary Gottlieb, he obtained asylum on behalf of multiple pro bono clients. He left the firm to join the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where he vindicated the rights of victims of both corporate and violent crime. Aganga-Williams further heard the call of public service when he left his position at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and moved to Washington, D.C., to join the January 6th Committee, where he sought accountability for those who undermined American democracy and the rule of law. As an immigrant to the United States, this work of defending the country’s founding principles was deeply personal.
