Educating the community remains among the top challenges facing the Manhattan District Attorney’s Intimate Partner & Sexual Violence Bureau, according to Bureau Chief and Assistant DA Nicole Blumberg.

“We’ve come a long way in where the laws are,” Blumberg said. “It used to be that for an Article 130 offense, corroboration was required to prove the charge beyond a reasonable doubt. Fortunately, that is no longer a core requirement.”
