One of the men charged alongside U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, in his New York bribery and fraud case on Wednesday waived a potential conflict for his legal representation, telling a federal judge he understands his attorney represents another co-defendant in the case in a potentially related case in New Jersey.

Egyptian-American businessman Wael Hana on Wednesday said he wants Lawrence Lustberg of Gibbons PC to continue representing him, even though Lustberg is also representing Fred Daibes in the New Jersey case.
