Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron on Friday issued a supplemental gag order barring attorneys for former President Donald Trump and his children from commenting on communications with his court staff—writing that their continued attacks on his clerk in court have real-world consequences.

The ruling follows escalating and more frequent remarks about Engoron’s principal law clerk by defense counsel as the New York attorney general’s business fraud case continues before the judge.
