Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron on Friday declined to grant a defense motion for mistrial in the New York attorney general's civil fraud case against former President Donald Trump, calling the arguments by defense attorneys "utterly without merit."
Lawyers for Trump, his eldest sons, and various Trump Organization entities and staff sought a mistrial Wednesday, alleging "demonstrable bias" and improper conduct by the court.
