More than 80 lawsuits brought over hundreds of ineffective oral decongestants, such as Sudafed PE and Tylenol Cold & Flu, will be tried before U.S. District Judge Brian Cogan in Brooklyn, New York.

The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on Wednesday coordinated the cases against more than 20 companies. These companies include manufacturers Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. and the Procter & Gamble Co., and retailers Amazon.com Inc. and CVS Pharmacy Inc., which had argued collectively for the cases to be transferred to the Eastern District of New York or the Southern District of New York.
