The civil courthouse in lower Manhattan was briefly evacuated Wednesday afternoon following an incident involving a small fire, according to court personnel.

Paris Nesbitt, 38, is now facing charges of second-degree attempted arson and first-degree reckless endangerment for his alleged involvement in the incident, which occurred on the fourth floor of 60 Centre around 4 p.m.
