We at The Children’s Law Center agree wholeheartedly that the Appellate Division should expedite Family Court appeals—and not only in the First Department. As Justices Rolando Acosta and David Saxe correctly state, children’s lives can change dramatically while the wheels of justice move along at a snail’s pace.
