The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. was named as a defendant in a proposed securities class action filed in the Southern District of New York on Monday, with the plaintiff alleging the beauty giant failed to disclose the extent of the company’s reliance on resellers in the Asian market.

The lawsuit, which was first surfaced by Law.com Radar, is the second proposed securities class action suit filed in less than two months against the company, which owns the brand Estée Lauder along with other beauty brands including Aveda, Clinique, The Ordinary and Le Labo.
