Rajni Gandhi sued New York’s Unified Court System alleging federal and state law claims arising from his employment and termination.
Only partly granting defendants summary judgment, U.S. District Judge Lawrence Kahn of the Northern District of New York dismissed Gandhi’s state law claims, his procedural due process and stigma-plus claims against individual defendants in the case, and his First Amendment retaliation claim as against Beth Diebel, the district executive for the Appellate Division, Third Department.
