The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York on Thursday remanded a proceeding involving the estate of legendary music manager Albert Grossman, his late wife Sally Grossman, and the music royalties of Janis Joplin and Gordon Lightfoot, to a state surrogate's court.
