We are responding to a Perspective piece by Joseph Bellacosa in which he reflects on his distinguished tenure in New York's judiciary in the piece, "Remembering When the Court of Appeals Reined in a Special Prosecutor Gone Rogue," which the Law Journal published on April 4.

He criticizes the Office of Special Prosecutor Maurice H. Nadjari, for whom we proudly served nearly 50 years ago—for, among other things, using "underhanded methods and questionable practices;" for "prosecutorial overreaching;" for "juicing a fearsome power surge;" for "ideological zealotry;" and for "bulging-muscle-flexing exertions."
