Attorneys for Nadine Menendez, the wife of Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, on Tuesday informed a federal judge that she was recently diagnosed with a medical condition that will not allow her to participate in the couple's trial on bribery and extortion charges, which is currently scheduled for May 6.
