The New York State Senate is set to consider the confirmations of more than two dozen gubernatorial nominees for judgeships on Wednesday, the eve of its scheduled wrap-up of the legislative session.
The Senate Judiciary Committee scheduled a 9:30 a.m. Wednesday meeting to hear from 25 nominees of Gov. Kathy Hochul, including a number who would further diversify the Empire State’s bench.
