- Some say that the most advantageous time for the prosecutors to go into private practice would be directly following Trump's sentencing on July 11.
- Still, some of that ADAs may stay in government, preferring to be career prosecutors.
Despite the ramped-up regulatory environment, it's a competitive job market for prosecutors seeking a plush job in private practice now, say some recruiters. Large law firms have their pick of top candidates, amid a flurry of lawyers leaving the government during the election year.
