Elizabeth Fine, top counsel to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, is planning to leave the administration by September to pursue a job in the private sector, Hochul said Monday.
The timing of the announcement gives the governor months to land Fine's replacement before the start of the Hochul administration's fourth state budget process.
