New York University, represented by O’Melveny & Myers, confirmed Tuesday it has settled a Title VI antisemitism protection case brought by three students against the university. The settlement in Ingber v. New York University involves an undisclosed monetary term and new measures by the university to combat antisemitism.

The three NYU students, represented by Kasowitz Benson Torres, argued that the university failed to enforce its antidiscrimination policies in regard to antisemitism toward Jewish students in the wake of the attacks of Oct. 7 in Israel. The case was filed on Nov. 14, 2023, in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York.
