Law reform is a never-ending process and ever-present need. The law must be stable but cannot be stagnant. As society changes, so too must laws be updated when needed to enhance the administration of justice. Law reformers eradicate obsolete rules, excise redundancies, reconcile conflicting provisions, promote clarity and simplicity in the law, and adapt law to fit modern social needs. This is tedious, labor intensive, time-consuming work. But more necessary today than ever.
