I am a former General Counsel, Special Counsel, and Principal Administrative Law Judge at what was then known as the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), having served there for more than 28 years. Thereafter I became a Deputy Commissioner at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH), for over six years, which included supervising the appeals unit of OATH’s Hearing Division.

Since February 2022, when I retired, I have been on a crusade to help restore consumer restitution hearings for defrauded consumers, to right a wrong committed by the two agencies I devoted my life to for over 35 years.
