Pryor Cashman has added Maxwell Breed, who was most recently a management committee member and litigation co-chair of midsize firm Warshaw Burstein. Breed is joining Pryor Cashman’s real estate litigation group in New York, the firm said Tuesday.

Breed said his departure from the 60-lawyer firm was “not because he was unhappy at Warshaw” but rather because he ”felt like his practice could benefit from a broader platform and a deeper bench” at the Am Law 200 firm. Breed said he used recruiters and looked at multiple firms before landing on 240-lawyer Pryor Cashman.
