Legal aid nonprofit Her Justice announced a new executive director Wednesday, hiring Alexia Korberg from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where they were a litigation partner and deputy chair of the mergers and acquisitions litigation practice group.
Her Justice primarily aids women living in poverty in New York City, including representing women in family law, divorce and immigration matters. The organization’s board of directors include a number of partners in Big Law, including Paul Basta from Paul Weiss, Monica Arora from Proskauer Rose, and Paul Leake from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
