Defense counsel for Donald Trump are again seeking the recusal of the Manhattan judge overseeing the former president's criminal case—this time citing the jurist's daughter's work with their client's "presumptive opponent," Vice President Kamala Harris.
In a submission made public Thursday, Trump's lawyers argued that Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan must recuse himself from the case as his daughter's company served as a vendor to Harris' 2020 presidential campaign.
