Kaplan Martin, the newest boutique of high-profile litigator Roberta Kaplan, has added four people from Kaplan’s previous firm. The firm, with seven lawyers now, looks to have up to 10 to 15 lawyers by the end of the year.

In a Friday interview, partners Kaplan and Tim Martin said that all of their clients came with them from their prior firm, Kaplan Hecker & Fink, including Columbia University, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, E. Jean Carroll, the multinational beverage company Diageo, and others. Kaplan added that she was recently retained by Tracey Tutor, a top Douglas Elliman real estate broker who accused real estate brothers Tal and Oren Alexander of sexual assault.
