A debt collection business sued Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York state court Thursday, alleging that the firm had failed to pay more than $350,000 in fees to TransPerfect Legal Solutions, a leading legal technology and artificial intelligence company.
TransPerfect provided document review and e-discovery services to the firm from 2022 to 2023, according to the suit, which was surfaced by Law.com Radar. Willkie Farr allegedly failed to pay invoices totaling $363,516.19 and did not properly forward those fees to their clients.
