Practice Profile: Evan advises fintechs, banks, e-commerce platforms, gaming sites, and other financial services providers on developing new products, services, and strategic partnerships. He provides practical regulatory and transactional support for a variety of payments, credit, and other financial technology business models. Evan’s focus includes payment processors, money transmitters, bank-fintech partnerships, marketplaces, and other online and app-based financial services providers.
Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Evan is a partner in Morrison Foerster’s Financial Services Group and Co-Chair of MoFo’s Interactive + Digital Media Group. Outside of client work, Evan contributes meaningfully to fintech and payments adjacent legal and compliance discussions, recently speaking at the American Fintech Council Policy Summit. Evan is also dedicated to pro bono work, including working with a New York nonprofit company on the creation of a prepaid card and financial literacy program for underbanked youth.
