What were some of your most satisfying successes of the past year, and why?

Miranda served as lead negotiator for the transfer of ownership of the historic home of the bar association and its charitable foundation. This was a multimillion-dollar transaction that had many divergent positions among the association's leadership. He also employed the strategy of listening to the concerns of all viewpoints, providing full transparency of the long-term costs involved, and ensuring that our charitable foundation would receive the benefit of services so it could continue to do its good work. After substantial debate and some divisiveness, he was able to obtain virtual unanimous approval for the association to accept ownership and remain in its historic home.
